Women’s shelter challenges Anchorage’s non-discrimination law
The Hope Center, a faith-based non-profit that operates as the Downtown
Soup Kitchen, has filed a religious freedom lawsuit in federal court
against the City of Anchorage, the Anchorage Equal Rights Commission and
the commission’s executive director.
Awesome! No surprise to see that the whole story behind why this
happened was skipped and the condition this person shows up there, was
in.
Also, Sad to see them glaze over the fact that the Majority of the women
that are there is because they specialize helping “Abused” women and
this is suppose to be a place they can be safe from men, being able to
come into.
Glad to see they have received help filing this lawsuit!

think the fight should be against pollution and how to clean our
world up. It’s the real problem anyways.

Anchorage School District decides a change to school start times, open
house presentations will be held across Anchorage.
How do you feel about the new school start times? ASD plans to make a
decision in early October about whether or not to change school start
times for the 2019-2020 school year.
