Volunteer nurses, doctors pitch in to help migrant caravan The
main plaza in Pijijiapan quickly became a makeshift triage center as
thousands of Central Americans trudged into this southern Mexico town.
Two weeks after the migrant caravan began, doctors and nurses
volunteering to treat them talk about what they see.
Pack them all up and send them home. If this doesn’t get the wall built
after midterm elections, nothing ever will.
This type of invasion needs to come to end forever. They all have plenty
of places they could stop and file to try to become Legal Immigrants to
America.
Instead they would rather rush the border and come here illegally. Like
they did to enter Mexico to begin with.

Anchorage airport reports strong summer tourism numbers "May
through September saw an additional 68,724 passengers traveling through
ANC — nearly a 4.5 percent increase over 2017,” according to a release
from the airport on Thursday.
A growing interest in visiting Alaska and the state’s robust tourism
industry are believed to be what caused the increased traffic.
Good to see the Tax Cuts and lower gas prices have continued to make
Alaska’s tourism grow!
Now just imagine if we had safe city streets to come and visit the

officials will ask voters next year if they want to reinstate a ban on
certain single-use plastic bags.
The measure was passed this week to place an ordinance on the October
2019 ballot, prohibiting retailers from providing customers with thin

Hope it doesn’t pass. The new bags they sell you are so thick that when

Aleutian school in danger of shutting down To get full
funding, each Alaska school needs at least 10 students. But at the Yakov
E. Netsvetov school in Atka, there are only six — meaning this could be
the school's final year.
The Yakov E. Netsvetov school in Atka is central to the community’s
cultural activities. The Atka Dancers, who created many of the Unangax
dances performed around
the region, started in the school. The Native Village of Atka also
partners with the school to hold Unangam Tunuu language classes.
If the sole survival of a community depends on a school being there. It
should be shut down.
Taxpayers shouldn’t be paying for a person(s) lifestyle they choose to
live.
Another prime example of Subsistence Living in Alaska. (Code word used
to describe their sole existence is dependent on Welfare)
