Yesterday, I had the opportunity to host United States Secretary of the
Treasury, Steven Mnuchin, in Alaska. We met with Governor Walker and
Alaska Permanent Fund
Corporation board members Sheldon Fisher, Andy Mack, and Angela Rodell
(CEO), who was recently named the first American and first woman to
serve as the Deputy Chair of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth
Funds. In the last few decades, Sovereign Wealth Funds like the Alaska
Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC) have grown significantly. This was a
valuable chance to address some of the benefits and concerns of these
funds and for the US Treasury to collaborate with APFC to ensure Alaskan
interests are understood.
Makes this
person wonder, by having two of the top people in Alaska together,
what plan did they come up with, to steal all of the PFD and use it
to fund their agenda?
Both Rino
Murkowski and Gov “He Who Shall Not Be Named” have shown the don’t
have the Majority of Alaskans in their best interest. But have shown
us that all over and over again, their special interest that bought
and paid for them are their only concerns.
Good thing one of the two will be gone in November and if we get

with him in one of the Muldoon precincts. His wife, Leigh
Sloan, joined us for a wet but productive and encouraging morning. I was
truly impressed by how many of his neighbors welcomed him warmly. Jake
is walking and knocking his way to victory on election night! I

As sea ice melts, some say walruses need better protection
How well Alaska's Pacific walruses cope with less sea ice is at the
heart of a legal fight over whether they should be listed as a
threatened species, giving them an added protection against human
encroachments.
So the researchers have no clue if it will have any impact on them. It’s
all Guess work and Feelings.
Just like the Polar Bears, Walruses were being wiped of the face of the
earth and it wasn’t because of Habitat. It was because humans were
killing them faster then they could reproduce.
When will people wake up and realize we are the ones that decimated
their numbers in the past and Climate Change has nearly nothing to do
with it?

reporting improper billing of Medicare, Medicaid The
complaints, in a lawsuit filed in federal court, aren't true, say
officials with the organization that runs the Alaska Native Medical
Center in Anchorage.
The tribal health organization, doing business as Alaska Native Medical
Center, says the claims are false.

toward President Trump, candidates have targeted their midterm messaging
to focus more on health care, doubling down on the Affordable Care Act.

Please explain how Healthcare/Medicare for All would work for Alaska and
the entire USA without doubling the taxes we all currently pay and how
do you expect to compensate the doctors and nurses working, when they
have their pay cut in half or more, to even be able to make that work?
“The problem is one of supply and demand. Single-payer systems offer
“free” care, so patients have no incentive to moderate their demand for
care.
But government cannot procure enough supply to meet that demand without
bankrupting taxpayers. Government officials’ only option is to ration
care.
Despite the
failings of the NHS, Democrats want to establish a single-payer
system in the United States. The Medicare for All bill sponsored by
Sen. Bernie Sanders would outlaw private insurance and funnel nearly
all Americans into a one-size-fits-all, government-run health plan.
That bill promises comprehensive medical, dental, and even vision
care, courtesy of John Q. Taxpayer.
The total bill? A
cool $32 trillion over 10 years. Next year, the federal government
projects it’ll take in $3.4 trillion in revenue. So Medicare for
All’s yearly tab is nearly equivalent to the federal government’s
entire annual tax take.
And Medicare for
All’s multitrillion-dollar cost estimate banks on bringing payments
for healthcare providers down to the level paid by the existing
Medicare program. That would represent a reduction of about 40
percent, relative to private insurance rates. Such pay cuts are
likely to drive providers out of business — or discourage the next
generation of doctors and nurses from entering the field.”
