Senator Wielechowski Goes Rogue on PFD Bill - The Alaska Landmine
Senator Bill Wielechowski (D – Anchorage) made a bold move today during
a senate floor session. He motioned for the senate to vote to move his
bill,…
Things got weird today on the senate floor SJR1 had a vote to take it out of the Senate Committee and it failed with a vote of 14 Nays and only 6 Yeas. Looks like we have 14 people that need to be finding new jobs this November. Clearly they have only Our Governments Budget as their top priority and using the PFD ERA as if it’s theirs to spend once again. Politadick |

Starting today, Anchorage gas prices will go up by $.10 per gallon.
Mayor Berkowitz thought this was a better idea than reducing unnecessary
spending. The hardest
hit? "Studies show excise #taxes are
disproportionately borne by low-income taxpayers, making them one of the
most regressive components of the U.S. tax system." -- https://taxfoundation.org/individual-consumpt…/excise-taxes/ Sad day today in Alaska. Not only do we have 33% of the population living in poverty, this will shove many more people into poverty level this year.... Politadick My gas will now cost me $600.00 more a year.... |

OPINION: Get ready for Trump 2.0 – The 2020 news is bad for Democrats,
great for America
"President Donald J. Trump won
on an agenda of putting the American people first, a vision made
possible only if you actually like the country and her people. Combine
that with a businessman’s and patriot’s success at bringing back the
American Dream and get ready for President Trump 2.0 in 2020." — Tammy
