June 18 at 10:07 PM  Alaska  KTUU 2  Murkowski: Family separation at border 'not consistent with our values'  As nationwide attention turns to children being separated from their families as they enter the U.S., Alaska's senior senator is speaking against it, saying it's 'not consistent with our values.' 

UPDATED: We've now heard from Sen. Dan Sullivan as well, who calls the separations "heartbreaking" and says it will take a legislative fix, and more money to solve.  "The time is now for the White House to end the cruel, tragic separation of families," Murkowski wrote in a statement. She said if the Attorney General and Department of Homeland Security don't take action, Congress should.

Sad to see not a single one of them has the guts to say that they are the ones responsible to change the Laws they are whining about, with a permanent fix and not a Presidential Order that the next one in line can just tear up.

In addition there is currently being reported 12,000 kids are in detention and 10,000 of those were not brought here by their parents. These are children brought in by smugglers.

Bill Walker is modifying his trip to Washington, D.C. next week to include discussions on the looming trade war between the United States and China — where just weeks ago, Walker led an Alaska delegation on a mission to expand trade ties.  China initially targeted Midwest soybean farmers with tariffs, provoking speculation among commentators that the move was to punish states that supported President Trump in 2016. Just over 50 percent of Alaska voters also supported Trump in 2016.

Governor “He Who Shall Not Be Named” will sell off complete control of Alaska to China, just to put his name on the “Gasline to Nowhere” 

Alaskans are still waiting for our Governor to show us the numbers that this can ever make a profit and not be costing Alaskans the entire PFD Account and ERA to pay for the financial loss it will be to build.
