Clearly if left the way it is, we Alaskans are not truly being represented by this and past administrations. Anchorage assembly added the gas tax without our consent, what is to stop all of the other city’s in Alaska from doing the same thing in their areas?

When you base dozens of reductions based on the previous year's actuals (what money was actually spent versus the money that was appropriated), only to be told "actuals aren't actuals", it becomes pretty challenging to construct amendments.

Politadick · 1:35:46 So the few like you in the house are trying to change what we have discussed. But the majority want nothing to do with it and that is why nothing changes. Then the Senate gets what they build and make changes to it. In other words, if it wasn’t for the Senate Alaska would be in a worse position then it is now because they are the minority with the final approval and have enough in it trying to keep the worse of the damages under control until there is a regime change in November
