The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Thursday proposed a rule that would limit the ability of states to exempt work-eligible adults from having to obtain steady employment to receive food stamps. Critics called the proposal "draconian" and said it would hurt workers and families who are already struggling.

YAY!!! House did what Pelosi and Schumer said would be impossible to happen and the House passes budget with $5 Billion attached for The Wall. Seems those two little kids are the ones who are really throwing a tantrum now.

Going by the Vote in the House, it’s clear that if the Government is shut down now. It’s the Democrats who have caused it to happen.  Politadick
December 20, 2018 at 8:53 PM  Alaska  KTUU 2  Retail sales alcohol tax heads to Anchorage voters for approval  The Anchorage Assembly voted Thursday to place the most recent iteration of the city retail alcohol tax on the April 2, 2019, ballot.  The proposal includes a five percent tax to take effect on January 1, 2020. It also gives the assembly authority to direct the use of net receipts from the tax revenue to go toward financing projects.

They have to cover the highest budget in Alaska’s history somehow. Surprised they didn’t pass this the same way they did the gas tax.

I’ll even bet not a single owner saw their property taxes drop. In fact I’ll bet they all paid even more then the year before.  Politadick

Alaska has succeeded in keeping the House Red, as long as you count the three Muskox and five other Rino’s in the house as being Republicans. Hopefully Governor Dunleavy can get them to get on the Dunleavy Train.  Politadick
