Gen. Michael Flynn, the president’s former national security adviser.  Special counsel Robert Mueller is recommending no prison time for retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, citing the former national security adviser’s “substantial assistance” in his ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Buried at the very end of what they say here is the reason Flynn should still have that job. He did absolutely nothing wrong, because he was doing his job.

““I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful,” Trump tweeted after Flynn pleaded guilty a year ago.”  Politadick
