April 13 at 4:40pm  Alaska  Rep Lora Reinbold  Photo's  With only a few days left in session I am making a very important post: the TOP 1000 PAID EXECUTIVE Branch Employees in Alaska State Gov in total compensation. Bottom line--state government jobs are taking the place of the private sector & if we want to sustain any sort of economy the state must prioritize and tighten the bloated budget belt in a big way! Note employee #1000 makes over $186,000. State Gov has around 22,000 employees, UAA, 5 state corporations & the state picks up most of the local government & teachers, let alone state employees in pers/ters retirement. Local contribution in retirement is up to 22% state retirement assistance picks up the rest. Our annual budget is hovering around 12 Billion right now- remember every government dollar is taken out of the private sector to pay for government (there are no gov money trees). The private sector unfairly pays for every dollar of massive unsustainable bloated government spending. We have recently posted the top Judicial branch employees and we will be posting the Legislative branch salaries.


We in the Private Sector only wish we could make this much a year.

Time for us all to make the private sector jobs....

Don’t ever forget that they are stealing from the ERA(PFD) for the first time in Alaska’s history! This is not the same thing as taking half of the PFD Dividend.....
