Representative Wilson accused of ethics violation by legislative
committee. FAIRBANKS—Rep. Tammie Wilson, R-North Pole, has
been accused of an ethics violation by the Legislative Ethics Committee. What do you call it when people are publicly and falsely accused of wrong-doing, they were never allowed opportunity to address it before their accusers, they deny the accusations once comes to their attention - after it is publicized? The fact that she was not 'punished' should tell you she was innocent... The back story is that the borough assembly up in Fairbanks area did a memorandum of agreement with one of those federal three letter agencies, who in turn keeps making more demands, thus the assembly keeps passing more stringent ordinances that result in outlawing wood stoves in FAIRBANKS. Can you imagine the hardship for people in that frigid part of the state? Rep Tammie Wilson and Assemblyman Lance Roberts have been fighting this for some time. Now Tammie has been taking her personal time to be where people can sign a petition to stop the madness their liberal assembly has brought on their community. I say this 'ethics violation' it is FAKE NEWS as a political attempt to ruin her reputation, or there would have been dire consequences from that liberal majority committee. Why would they do such a thing? Ha. Because this OUTSTANDING House Member calls them on the carpet when they pull shenanigans. This is how they get even. It's a liberal thing. She is their worst nightmare! LOL YOU GO GIRL! Kudos to Rep Tammie Wilson!! You are a ROCK STAR, worthy of their ire!!! Carol Carman She says she didn't do it, other than using the wrong mailbox... They say she did do something, including using the wrong mailbox… Yet, what she sent out was not for people that were in her immediate area, but targeting the groups outside of her constituents area in Alaska… The giant wood-burning stove issue going on in the Fairbanks area, she is not one of those responsible for it and is trying to put an end to this extremely bad program for those living there. PEOPLE NEED TO STAY WARM Who really was on that mailing list that she sent this postcard to? That's the question I want to know! Now that I have the answer to this I commend her for taking the right stance on this issue From Rep. Tammie Wilson "I sent to mostly my constituents and a few that had participated in past hearings and initiatives. I used my own funds for the postcard and stamps. They said the violation was utilizing the return address of my office." Especially considering all of the backlash coming from the lower 48 over that issue... Politadick |
