BLM announces record NPR-A lease sale On Wednesday, the BLM
announced it will be selling a record number of oil and gas leases on
Dec. 6, in the NPR-A. Congressman Don Young: I thank the President and Secretary Zinke for their work and commitment towards American energy dominance, an effort that is only made possible by Alaska’s vast energy resources. This decision is a testament to our work to spearhead new development and fight back against the status quo that has underserved Alaskan communities and interests for years. The NPR-A was always intended for development, not to be locked away in perpetuity like the previous administration attempted. This announcement reaffirms Congress’ original intent of the NPR-A and begins moving us back in the right direction. I look forward to working with Secretary Zinke and the Department of Interior on strengthening responsible oil and gas development not only in the NPR-A, but across Alaska’s North Slope. This Rocks for Alaska Finally we have someone running the country that wants to help Alaskans future generations prosper For some Alaskans, it has been a long time since something this huge has happen and it is AWESOME Politadick |

State-owned power plant billed utilities for flights that didn’t happen,
audit finds The managers of the Bradley Lake Hydroelectric
Project near Homer say it's part of the cost of doing business in an
area where weather causes many…
I wonder if there will be any criminal charges brought for these phantom
flights. Good job Fred
Dyson's
committee in discovering this fleecing of Anchorage's tax
money. Washington State law requires when a contractor or a public
agency or a municipal government mess up after a public audit is done.
They must reimburse the agency and in some cases criminal charges are
brought upon the fleecers. I want to see these idiots in handcuffs. If I was to book a flight and conditions didn’t allow it to happen. They would book me on another one until it was able to leave or refund the amount until They could make it happen. What they are doing is pure robbery of Alaskans income and is absorbed in the costs of the electricity that we half to pay for. Causing what we are using, prices, to be higher then they should be because of it. Politadick |
