Did you know that the City of Palmer has on next week's agenda, October
10, AARP and the World Health Organization "Livable Communities," which
is the United Nation's
public health arm, trying to get implemented in the City of Palmer?
The Palmer Senior Center and United Way MatSu will give a presentation
on "Livable Communities." This "partnership" will present a resolution
outlining their support for this and will encourage the City to sign on.
I would encourage each of you that live in Palmer to make your voices
heard - do you want the United Nations in Palmer?
