November 23 at 5:49pm  Alaska KTUU 2  We're not forgotten,' turkey tradition a reminder for Anchorage's homeless community  On Thanksgiving day, hundreds of homeless Alaskans are able to enjoy a traditional feast provided by Bean's Cafe, but the organization says this is the…  "Bean's Cafe and the community around us makes sure we're not forgotten."  We visited Bean's today for its annual Thanksgiving meal, but this year, the organization saw a 40 percent reduction in donations and had to purchase some items that would in years past have been covered by donations.
