committee.
They allowed an unvetted amendment in order to force the Senate to
conference, where they planned to add taxes into the mix and hold up
reform until they got their pound of tax flesh.
Speaker Bryce Edgmon had already assigned Democrats Zach Fansler,
Matt Claman, and Republican Chuck Kopp to the conference committee --
that is how sure he was.
But the Senate didn't play along. The Senate Majority accepted the bill
as delivered, and adjourned sine die. "

A man charged with shooting two handguns into an occupied hotel room now
