Late Tuesday evening, the Anchorage Assembly passed a 10-cent per gallon
gasoline tax.
Like thieves in the night, they have sneaked into our homes and robbed

They don’t care to have the public vote on this. 10 people have decided

Anchorage adopts local gasoline tax, at 10 cents a gallon
The new tax is set to take effect March 1, 2018.
Drivers will pay an extra 10 cents per gallon at the pump in Anchorage
starting next March.
Tax goes into affect in March, like thieves in the middle of the night,
they broke into you house and are stealing from us all‼️
9 people decided the fate of 300,000+. Mayors across the board raises
half to be paid for somehow. Anchorage started this year with a
$20,000,000 million shortfall and all they keep doing is giving raises
and expanding their power‼️

FAIRBANKS — The White House has asked Congress to fund a fourth missile
defense silo field at Fort Greely.
Don Young: Alaska has long been, and continues to be, at the
forefront of our national security operations. With numerous elements
that support the safety of our nation, there
is little question the value we place in the assets and missions housed
in Alaska. It’s been nearly 20 years since the passage of the
‘All-American Resolution,’ language I spearheaded in the late 90’s that
was critical to bringing the Ballistic Missile Defense System to Fort
Greely.
With emerging threats across the globe, particularly the reckless and
irrational behavior of the North Korean regime, now is the time to make
robust investments in our Alaska-based missile defense capabilities. I
welcome this request by the Trump Administration, one that builds upon a
unified effort in Congress and underscores the importance of systems
that serve as a vital deterrent to North Korea and as a front line
defense against weapons of mass destruction.
Another prime example of why Americans voted President Trump into
office, on this Historic Day, one year ago‼️

said Amy Urbach, who use to be hooked on meth. DHSS says the drug
is coming into Alaska in a new form and it's killing some drug users.

Meth, Heroin and now Fentanyl are the real Opioid Crisis. Always has

Meth-related deaths increase fourfold in Alaska
According to a new Alaska DHSS report, mortality rates have increased
from 1.4 per 100,000 people to 5.8 per 100,000 people, in recent years.
Though the state is in the midst of an opioid crisis, that's not the
only drug on the rise. Deaths related to methamphetamine across the
state of Alaska have increased
four-fold since 2008, with the highest rates coming in the Gulf Coast,
Southeast and Interior.
Meth, Heroin and now Fentanyl have always been the problem in Alaska and
never went away, it just that government decided to call it an Opioid
