November 2 at 8:53am  Alaska  KTUU 2  ANWR WATCH LIVE: U.S. Senate opens hearing on opening ANWR for drilling  Alaskan leaders, both cultural and political, assembled in Washington on Thursday morning to hear arguments both for and against the potential… The committee will reconvene at 8:30 a.m. to continue the discussion on opening ANWR for drilling. Some are for it, and some oppose it, but what do Alaskans think? Do you think we should drill in ANWR?

Get that oil flowing    I listened to the first half this morning and those who oppose it are using the same old (40+ year old) arguments that gave when it came to the pipeline back then.      People who don’t live here and know the success Alaska has had and has. Should not be allowed to tell us what we can and can’t do in our Great State     Time to unlock Alaska’s true potential and get that oil into the pipeline

Update:

Now I have seen the second half. All I can say is if it doesn’t pass, I would like to know how 40+ year old opposition talking points, that was over and over again been debunked, are continued to be pushed during this hearingThose asking the questions clearly have done no research and are using a very old playbook to stop ANWR from being opened...  Politadick

November 2 at 9:29am  Alaska Public .Org  Oil production is up, and DNR expects it to keep climbing  Production was up about 3 million barrels, and the state is predicting that it’s going to be up next year too. Listen now  Help us share the good news: It’s working. Oil production is up another 2 percent this year and the state expects an additional increase next year. Alaskans know the foundation for increased investment and more oil in the pipeline is a stable tax policy. It is imperative that we maintain our current, successful tax plan to Keep Alaska Competitive.

Now if they get ANWR Open, the pipeline could be at full capacity within 10 Years  Politadick

The Walker administration took positive steps in acknowledging climate impacts here in Alaska. The most important thing for us to do now is create a fiscal plan to move forward and deal with climate impacts.

$1,000,000,000 Billion dollars in 10 years has been spent on “Climate Change/Global Warming/Global Cooling” in Alaska  You ask what has that money done to change the “Climate”  Answer... Absolutely nothing, all that money has been used to move villages.  "He who shall not be Named” in his announcement this week was very clear that this initiative is only about getting funding to move more villages and has nothing to do with actual “Climate Change/Global Warming/Global Cooling” in Alaska  Politadick
