Following a meeting organized by the Alaska Federation of Natives, interior Secretary Ryan Zinke vows to work on sharing federal management duties…  Ryan Zinke said the Interior Department needs to look at more opportunities to "get government out of the way."

This is a welcome change after the 8+ years of restriction being put in place. Finally Alaska is getting the support it has needed for far to long out of Washington

May 31, 2017 at 3:59pm  Alaska KTUU 2  University of Alaska: thousands affected by data breach, including names, social security numbers  Thousands of university employees, staff, and faculty could potentially have been affected following a successful phishing scam and subsequent data…  The University of Alaska sent out letters to those people who had their names and accompanying social security numbers exposed, due to an email scam.
