Alaskan tax payer forked out somewhere in the range of $80-130 million dollars to relocate the town of 354 people because their land was being eroded by a river...  4.5 billion years this has been going on, on this planet and it was their choice to live where they do.  It shouldn't be Alaska's taxpayer covering this.  I wonder how many people that live there are employed?  I'm sure if the state is providing a number of jobs in that community, like school teacher and the 6 other people needed to run the school that would be 6 jobs there. (Can't count the teacher, they usually are shipped in and out each year).  But let's be realistic here, we all know that the number is less then half of the able-body people don't have a job.  So how do they afford to live where they do? Hmmmm.... Wonder what the state pays our for benefits? Might be time for a career change....
