As I gear up my finals at UAA, I want to take a timeout to thank everyone for attending the open Town Hall Event. It was very insightful and I feel confident that the attendees walked away with some information, motivated to work more on the issue, volunteer and most of all, have more hope.

After my semester ends, I have just a few weeks before Summer Semester begins. So, I would like to discuss further opportunities for those that have asked to volunteer. We have open positions and the State Board and I look forward to discussing those opportunities.

We have started planning a similar town hall in Fairbanks, AK for mid-July as the demand has grown. I welcome the opportunity to meet more people of this growing movement.

For those at the Town Hall event, you already know what I'm about to announce. The Alaska Father's Rights Movement and the Parental Alienation Syndrome- Intervention AK Chapter will be holding a Fatherless Day Rally across the state. Supporters in the Anchorage area... we will be holding our rally across the street from Nesbett Courthouse on June 16, 2017 from 10 AM until 3 PM. For supporters across the state, we urge you to organize your rallies in your local areas. For those in Juneau, we urge you to go to the either the State Capitol building or across from the Governor's Mansion. Please let us know about your rally and send us updates, ask us questions, and take pictures. Inquire about media presence for your rally. The more courthouses we rally, the more attention this issue can get.

If you go to the Anchorage Rally, you will get to meet the Founder and President of The Father's Rights Movement, Thomas Fidler. He is the rock that has made The Father's Rights Movement an international movement with chapters from Australia to Canada to the United Kingdom. Let's make this lifelong Alaskan proud by supporting him as well as our children.

We ask that you remain peaceful, but loud and wear red for solidarity. Bring signs and noise makers so we can be seen and heard. Our state legislators are not listening to us. So, it is up to us to bring this important issue of parental alienation, unfair court practices, needless litigation, silver bullets, but, most importantly, equality as we stand for the major legislative issue we want to convey: 50/50 rebuttable presumption of child custody.

So, demand that 50/50 time with your children. No child loves their parent for only 4 days a month. Let's #LegalizeFatherhoodInAK.

Respectfully,

David Vesper
